Walking in your purpose
I’m up late thinking about the progress and growth I’ve made as an event decorator. At first, I was focused on the things I haven’t achieved yet, but when we lose sight of the progress we make it can dim the light and take away from the passion and confidence we have at something… I am too hard on myself sometimes, but when I decorate I know it’s my calling. It brings me joy and it’s my portion of art that gives back to the universe. I am happy that I haven’t given up the times Ive wanted to. This has been a busy and amazing year despite the pandemic. I have to push through fear and doubt when it comes to keep going. If you are passionate about something, and it feels right when you do it, perfect your craft, embrace the mistakes (lessons) and take massive action to make it work! Walk in your purpose.
LOL Surprise Party
This party was a lot of fun to create but I was filled with nervousness because this was my third outdoor event out of my entire six years of decorating! Outdoor events are tough! The wind can get the best out of things (if you decorate you just know) Anywho lol I love using printable’s… they definitely came in handy and helped me to make the party look elegant on an affordable budget! My Dallas Cowboys Baby Shower 🏈
I loved how this turned out! I would’ve did more but between budgeting and no energy I was tired lol. My sons father is a big Cowboys fan so I thought it would be fun to bring our son in with this theme (since he’s born drafted in anyway lol) we had the game going too so people could watch Sunday football. I will say I ran into a lot of logo issues though…Some people wouldn’t do work like printing backdrops and even cookies because of copyright issues! It made me sad! But in the end I’m happy with the turnout ❤️ Let me know what you think! I’m so ready to meet my son!
Elephants Baby Shower
It is such a great feeling to be back on my blog! Life has been so busy but I always come back to my passions if I’m unable to be consistent! Here is some work I did mid March 💕 this baby shower was soft and elegant. It was simple and bold at the same time and my client was satisfied! A happy client is always a happy life in my world. Let me know what you all think! Most of the items you see are custom made by me. This year I look forward bringing new fresh ideas to my collection and taking my crafting skills to another level the beat way I can. Business has been progressing but I have to remind myself that slow progress is still PROGRESS!

My big girl is officially five years old and I wanted to make sure that we started it off right and Magical! I started planning her party three months prior to her birthday to give me adequate time to set everything up and plan because as most of you know parties can be so crazy! The children had face paint, photo props, ice cream, ice cream toppings and sweets that children love to eat! I did all her centerpieces, the air filled balloons, table settings and so much more! The colors complimented eachother so well and everyone most importantly my birthday girl enjoyed themselves 💖 This so far is my favorite birthday party I’ve done this year!
